New Hours for Student Health Services Student Health Services will provide extended clinic hours starting Monday, April 21, 2008 through May 30, 2008. Nursing Services will be provided during the extended times. Appointment and Walk-in clinics are still available. Monday – Friday Human Performance Center From the Director of Student Health Services... The UNO Student Heath Services provides health care to all students including disabled and international. The clinic is staffed with internal medicine / pediatric physicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, a health educator, and a pharmacist. Student Health Services is a comprehensive medical clinic, offering gynecological exams, sexually transmitted disease testing, physical exams, basic first aid, birth control, and maintenance of chronic illness (diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, etc...) and treatment of minor ailments. The health educator provides pre and post test counseling for HIV. In addition smoking cessation, nutrition and stress management programs are offered. The pharmacy supplies medications (prescription and over the counter) at a discounted rate for the UNO community. We serve as a resource for health outreach programs and basic health education for the UNO community. While our main goal is to provide preventive and adequate healthcare to the UNO students, we also offer immunizations to faculty and staff for a fee. There is a fee associated with these immunizations and are payable at the time of service. Please contact UNO Student Health Services at (504) 280-6387 Next Step for UNO Students Make sure you are in compliance. 1. Complete the Immunization Compliance Form and verify that you have all signatures requested in order for the form to be accepted. 2.
